By using ShaadiSync, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect payment card details (handled entirely by third-party payment providers).
- We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
- We do not collect location data, device fingerprints, or browsing history.
- We do not collect biometric data.
- We do not collect data from social media accounts.
3. How We Use Your Information

We will never use your data to:

4. AI Data Processing
This section is critical because ShaadiSync uses artificial intelligence to generate compatibility reports.
4.1 What Data Is Sent to AI Providers
When a report is generated, the following data is sent to our third-party AI providers:
- Question text and selected answer labels for each participant (e.g., "Q: Where do you prefer to live after marriage? A: Live with parents/in-laws").
- Role labels (Bride's Responses, Groom's Responses, Bride's Family Responses, Groom's Family Responses).
4.2 What Data Is NOT Sent to AI Providers
- Names — No participant names are included in AI requests.
- Email addresses — Not sent.
- Passwords — Not sent.
- Case IDs or invite codes — Not sent.
- Any personally identifiable information (PII) — Not sent.
4.3 Third-Party AI Provider Policies

Important: Our selected AI providers state that API data is not used to train their models by default, as per their policies at the time of writing. We cannot guarantee that third-party providers will not change their policies in the future.
4.4 AI Output Limitations
- AI-generated reports may contain inaccuracies or generalizations.
- Reports are not reviewed by humans before delivery.
- We do not store raw AI API request/response logs beyond what is needed to deliver the report to you.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency), including to:
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Protect and defend our rights or property.
- Prevent fraud or illegal activity.
- Protect the personal safety of users or the public.
6. Data Storage & Security
6.1 Where Data Is Stored
- Data is stored on our servers.
- We do not transfer data outside of India unless required by our AI providers' API infrastructure (third-party AI servers may be located globally).
6.2 Security Measures

6.3 Security Limitations
- No system is 100% secure. While we implement reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Data transmitted over the internet may be subject to interception. We use HTTPS for all communications.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and invite codes confidential.
7. Data Retention

7.1 Account Deletion
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at support@shaadisync.in.
- Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete your data within 30 days.
- Some data may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
- Deletion of a Creator's account will affect the Case and all associated Participant data.
7.2 Case Deletion
- The Creator of a Case may request deletion of the entire Case, including all responses and reports.
- Participants may request deletion of their individual responses from a Case.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

ShaadiSync is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Cookies & Tracking
10.1 What We Use
- localStorage — We use browser localStorage to store session tokens and questionnaire progress locally on your device. This is essential for the Service to function.
- No third-party cookies — We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.
- No tracking pixels — We do not use tracking pixels or web beacons.
10.2 What We Do NOT Use
- Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms.
- Facebook Pixel or similar advertising tools.
- Any cross-site tracking technology.
11. International Data Transfers
- ShaadiSync is operated from India.
- When AI reports are generated, anonymized data may be processed by AI providers whose servers are located outside India (e.g., United States, Europe).
- By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of anonymized questionnaire data to these providers for the purpose of report generation.
- We ensure that such transfers are limited to anonymized data (no PII) and are governed by the AI providers' data processing agreements.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
- Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
